How does coming from an operational background make a difference to your clients and candidates?
Having myself experienced the candidate experience with several recruitment firms, I was already convinced that mastering these technical subjects was a strong asset.
Passionate about technological innovation, I can rely on my knowledge to properly support candidates around their strengths, as well as on my operational background to understand customer issues.
What is your favorite aspect of your job?
I thrive through the richness of encounters. The network that I manage is made up of experienced profiles, with rich and varied backgrounds, and the clients that I support have exciting challenges to take up. This business allows you to have a cross-functional posture, which provides global visibility on economic and societal developments.
I take great pleasure in unblocking a situation thanks to a good understanding of the client’s issues, by provoking a crush meeting with the ideal candidate, but also by accompanying them throughout their mission. When the interim manager starts his mission and the client thanks us for having provoked this meeting, it confirms that technology can certainly make it possible to go faster, but also that nothing will replace the human.
I really appreciate the consulting dimension, which is the key to the success of this job.
If you had to convince someone to join us, what would you say?
If I was speaking to a person tempted by this change of job after a first part of a career in operations, I would tell him/her that he/she has knocked on the right door.
